Discussion at Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference, China

Jamie Allen, Secretary General and Nana Li, Senior Research Analyst, had the honour to attend the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2019 in Hainan on 27 March 2019.

Jamie was invited to be a panellist by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). The topic of the panel was “Reform for Converging Interests, Cooperation for Mutual Benefits”. SASAC Chairman Xiao Yaqing gave the opening remarks and Jamie’s panel discussion was televised across China on CCTV, the state television network. The full session was broadcasted at 9.45pm (Beijing Time, GMT+8) on April 7 (Sunday) on CCTV 2 Finance Channel “Dialogue” program.

CGTN, the English Channel of CCTV interviewed Jamie and Mr. Wang Huiyao, the President of Center for China and Globalization (CCG).
