ACGA Blog: Taiwan Reflections: Power up, paradoxes and path ahead

On 28 September, ACGA published a blog post by Lake Wang, ACGA’s Research Head for Greater China, on the distinctive features of corporate governance in Taiwan and how the market has evolved in recent years. The Taiwanese Power Up Plan, announced in June 2024, is a Value Up-style programme aimed at lifting valuations and drawing greater investor interest. The blog traces the rise in engagement with the programme through 2025 and links it to the design and implementation of incentives by Taiwanese regulators.
