ACGA Members Briefing in London

Amar Gill, ACGA’s Secretary General, held an in-person Members Briefing in London on 1 September, giving an update on ACGA activities and regulatory developments in Asia. The presentation covered consultations that ACGA has responded to in Japan, the Korean stewardship code update, a summary of the China delegation in May, the virtual delegation and the amendments to corporate law in India, Hong Kong’s listing framework consultation on weighted voting rights, Taiwan’s Power Up programme as well as an update on ACGA’s annual conference in Taipei. There was an interactive discussion with members in London which we aim to hold at least annually.
