ACGA spoke at the Institutional Investor Council of Malaysia’s Corporate Governance Conference 2026

On 2 July, Amar Gill, ACGA’s Secretary General, spoke at the Institutional Investor Council of Malaysia’s Corporate Governance Conference 2026 on the panel discussing Driving Board Effectiveness through Renewal and Talent. Amar emphasized the importance of independence of the nomination committee of boards and recommended that the chair of the committee should be available to meet with investors ahead of shareholder meetings.
