ACGA spoke for a Quantum Advisors discussion series on corporate governance in India

On 29 January, Amar Gill, ACGA Secretary General, participated in a recorded Zoom call hosted by Quantum Advisors. The discussion focused on corporate governance standards and investor perspectives in India and across Asia.

During the session, Amar shared insights on ACGA’s membership and focus, trends in Asia’s corporate governance rankings, and the key governance concerns raised by global institutional investors on India. The conversation also explored company engagement, receptiveness of Indian corporates to investor views, and the challenges governance minded investors face when allocating capital through passive investment strategies in markets where governance risks remain prevalent.
