3rd International Directors Summit 2017

The 3rd International Directors Summit (IDS) on Governance will take place in Kuala Lumpur over August 21-22, hosted by the Malaysian Directors Academy (MINDA) and jointly organised by the Razak School of Governance.

With the theme “Enhancing Resilience Through Governance For Sustainability”, the aim of IDS this year is to address how boards can respond to periods of change to ensure business sustainability over the growing challenges from uncertainty in political, economic and social environment.

Jamie Allen, ACGA Secretary General, will speak in a plenary panel on the topic, "Corporate Governance & Shareholder Litigation", in the afternoon of Monday, August 21. Other speakers include:

Dr. Bandid Nijathaworn, President & CEO, Thai Institute of Directors, Thailand;
Dato' Dr. Nik Ramlah Mahmood, Public Sector Director, Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia, Malaysia; and
Gerald Ambrose, CEO, Aberdeen Islamic Asset Management Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, who will be the moderator.
