On 3 October, Stephanie Lin, ACGA’s Research Head for Korea and Singapore, was featured in Bloomberg’s article, “Forget K-Pop, the Kospi Is South Korea’s Latest Hit.” Lin noted that while the ruling party’s rapid reforms signal strong resolve to reach a KOSPI 5,000, the real impact will depend on implementation. Structural and operational hurdles, including defensive corporate measures and legal enforcement, will be key to whether the changes drive meaningful shareholder engagement.
