ACGA spoke at “Governance as the Catalyst for Sustainable Value” seminar

On 15 July 2025 , Amar Gill, ACGA Secretary General, spoke at a seminar titled “Governance as the Catalyst for Sustainable Value” organised by Dun & Bradstreet, along with ACGA member BlackRock, represented by Eddy Gan, Director, Investment Stewardship APAC and Head of Greater China. The seminar explored the critical role of governance in advancing environmental and social progress within the evolving ESG landscape. In his remarks, Amar highlighted the importance of investor access to independent directors as a key step toward moving corporate governance beyond a box-ticking, compliance-driven approach.
