ACGA features in Dong-A Business Review

On 20 May, ACGA Secretary General Amar Gill and Stephanie Lin, ACGA’s Research Head for Korea and Singapore, participated in a written interview with Dong-A Business Review, a Korean bi-weekly magazine focused on business and economics. In the interview, ACGA highlighted several governance-related challenges at Korean AGMs, including the need for timely English disclosures, the immediate release of AGM voting results, and the presence of independent directors at AGMs. The conversation also touched on the importance of board independence and diversity to protect shareholder rights and enhance board accountability.
