ACGA Open Letter: 2025 India Delegation Feedback

ACGA led a delegation of 15 investor members from 11 global institutions to India from 17–21 March 2025, meeting with regulators, industry bodies, and corporates to discuss supporting share-holder value-creation through corporate governance reforms, deregulation and digitalization. Following these discussions, ACGA prepared an Open Letter summarizing recommendations to align Indian corporate governance with international best practices, focusing on shareholder engagement and minority protections. The letter was shared with key government and regulatory bodies on 23 April 2025, urging adoption of these recommendations to further strengthen India’s corporate governance framework.
