HKVCA ESG Brownbag Luncheon Talk 2017

ACGA's Secretary General Jamie Allen joins a panel discussing "Going IPO? ESG practice matters in Hong Kong listing!" at the June edition of the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA) ESG Brownbag Luncheon Talk at The Exchange Auditorium, Exchange Square, Hong Kong, on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. 

Discussion points cover the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's ESG reporting requirements for listed companies, as well as the challenges, trends and gaps in ESG practices among Hong Kong listings. The panel will also address the relationship between "sustainability" and "profitability" and offer some practical advice on ESG best practices for Hong Kong publicly listed companies.   

Katherine Ng, Head of Policy, Listing Department, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing will first make a presentation and then join the panel discussion moderated by Alvin Lam, Senior Managing Director, CVC Capital Partners. Other speakers include Brian Ho, China Sustainability Leader, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, EY; Jeanne Ng, Director, Group Sustainability, CLP Power Hong Kong; and Hauman Yeung, Director, Ascent Partners Advisory Service.
