AmCham and CUHK Joint Panel Discussion 2017

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is implementing new requirements for ESG reporting. AmCham and CUHK will hold a joint forum on this topic on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. The topic of the panel is "Corporate Governance for Listed Companies - a new era in Greater China?" It will be co-hosted by the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, China Business Committee and Financial Services Committee. 

All speakers are invited to address the latest developments in corporate governance, transparency and disclosure, and corporate social responsibility in China and the region. ACGA Secretary General Jamie Allen will share his insights on a wider context on CG around the region, particularly focussing on the idea that ecosystems matter and the emergence of ESG reporting in Asia.

Other speakers include Ivy Wong, Special Counsel, Baker McKenzie, and Dr Daphne Yiu, Professor and Chairperson, Department of Management, CUHK Business School. Imelda Kwong, Director, Sustainability and Climate Change, PwC Hong Kong, is the moderator.
