Jamie Allen, Secretary General, gave a virtual keynote speech at the Chengdu-Chongqing New Economy Forum “Pioneering a new cycle” held in Chengdu, China on 8 July 2021.

As a representative for the Greater Bay Area, Jamie talked about his view on the opening of the Chinese economy and the importance of corporate governance to build a sustainable capital market. Jamie also asked companies in China to better respond to climate change and other ESG and governance challenges to mitigate risks in future.
