The Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA) is an independent, non-profit association based in Hong Kong. Over the years ACGA has made a name for itself as the region’s foremost organisation carrying out research, advocacy, and education on corporate governance and ESG in 12 major Asian capital markets. It has built an influential membership base of more than 110 global investment managers, listed companies, accounting and insurance firms, and other entities with a commitment to enhancing corporate governance in this region. ACGA’s investor members alone manage more than US$35 trillion in assets globally.

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced management professional to replace our current Chief Operating Officer (COO), who is relocating. As COO you will be supporting the Secretary General in spearheading the development of the Association. Key duties include:

Ensuring prudent financial management, overseeing our operational processes, and providing timely and accurate financial analysis to the Audit and Finance Committees.
Driving operational efficiencies through the application of new information technology.
Assisting in the HR management of the ACGA Secretariat and coaching the operations and finance team to optimise their capabilities.
Reporting regularly on the activities of the Association to the ACGA Council (board of directors) and Council committees.
Overseeing the management of regular ACGA events, including in-person and online, and the development of new educational materials on video.
Assisting with business development, including membership marketing and renewals, conference sponsorship, and other fund-raising activities.
Providing valuable input to strategic planning, financial budgeting, and marketing strategies.
Representing ACGA in public fora as required.

This is a full-time job based in Hong Kong and requires applicants with an eligible Hong Kong working visa. Salary is commensurate with experience and negotiable. We also offer competitive benefits, including pension, medical, and annual leave.
