Board diversity initiative launched in Shenzhen

The Xiangmihu Female Board Member Initiative was launched at a seminar on board gender diversity in Shenzhen on 27 November 2020. It was the first of its kind in China. ACGA was a supporting organisation of the event, which was organised by the Shenzhen Investment Fund Association, Shenzhen Corporate Governance Research Association and the Social Value Investment Alliance. 

The Initiative aims to encourage asset managers to promote board gender diversity across their investee companies through active engagement. ACGA members including Penghua Asset Management Company and Fidelity International were among the first batch of signatories.
