ACGA received ISAR Honour Certificate 2019

ACGA has received the ISAR Honour Certificate for our China report “Awakening Governance: The evolution of corporate governance in China, in recognition of our efforts in promoting best practices in the region. 

ISAR, the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting, assists developing countries and economies in transition in the implementation of best practices for accounting and corporate governance. The objective of such initiatives is to enhance the investment climate and promote sustainable development. ISAR aims to achieve this through an integrated process of research, intergovernmental consensus building, information dissemination and technical cooperation.

This year the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD) received 33 applications from public and private sector entities, representing more than 19 countries. The winners of the ISAR Honours were announced at the 36th meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on ISAR on 30 October 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland.
