Discussion at the Caixin ESG30 Forum, Beijing

Jamie Allen, Secretary General and Nana Li, Senior Research Analyst, were invited to attend the 10th Caixin Summit  held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing on 10 November 2019. ACGA is one of the two supporting organisations of the summit. 

Jamie Allen was honoured to be invited by Mr. Erji Gao, Executive Director of Caixin Insight, to announce the launch of China ESG30 Forum (the forum), the first ESG-focused high-level expert committee in China. The forum aims to discuss ESG-related issues in the Chinese A-share market among up to 30 experts. In the forum, Jamie Allen spoke at one of the roundtable discussions on "ESG’s international standards and its infrastructure construction in China".

Topic included:
- What are the challenges and special factors to be considered when ESG concept arrives in China? 
- What are the similarities and differences between domestic and international ESG markets? 
- How do policy regulation and markets work together to build ESG compliance, valuation and investment criteria that meet the real needs of the A-share market?
