ACGA will host our "Investor-Auditor Roundtable" in London on 8 November 2022.

Topics include:

Climate accounting: the application of existing accounting and auditing standards to climate-related matters in financial statements (and why so few companies appear to be doing this).

Preparing for ISSB: what issuers, auditors and investors need to do to get ready for ISSB; how and where preparers will disclose financially relevant sustainability information (and how this will link to the financial statements); the need for assurance; and what investors can do to encourage this process (eg, make views known to audit regulators and standard setters, many of whom seem keen to slow down the adoption of ISSB standards).
