ACGA has been meeting with regulators, exchanges and other relevant bodies in India since the mid-2000s. In January 2010, we published a "White Paper on Corporate Governance in India" that analysed and made recommendations for reform on five key areas: shareholder meetings and voting; related-party transactions; preferential warrants; corporate disclosure; and auditing. Many of our recommendations were subsequently adopted by regulators. We also organised a major conference in India in 2008 and 2017, and led investor delegations to the country in 2010 and 2014.
