BackResponsible Investment Conference, Tianjin
The “2017 China Responsible Investment Conference” held on June 6 at the Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel, in Tianjin, marks the first time ACGA has co-organised an event with the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) and China Association for Public Companies (CAPCO). Supporting organisations are the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Financial Affairs and Tianjin China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).
As China's financial market regulators are seeking to encourage local asset managers to factor ESG into their decision-making and learn from the experience of overseas markets, the programme's focus was on the growing importance of ESG and responsible investment to the development of the financial sector in China. Around 600 participants attended, including key representatives from financial market regulators, listed companies, fund companies and ESG experts from China and overseas.
