On 17 Oct 2024, ACGA released an open letter on feedback from Japan Delegation.

From 24–27 September 2024 the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA) led an in-person delegation to Japan, where 31 investor members from 25 institutional investor organizations had tightly scheduled meetings with regulators, industry bodies and corporates. The delegates were impressed by the resolve and commitment shown by government, corporates and regulators to enhance corporate value-creation.  We appreciate the openness of regulators on what more can be done to continue to grow corporate value sustainably. Hence, following our delegation, ACGA has prepared the letter to summarize the views of our delegate members on recommendations for areas that would indicate international norms or best practices.
