On November 28, 2014, ACGA Chairman, Douglas Henck, wrote to the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Mr. C.Y. Leung, on enhancing Hong Kong's status as an international financial centre. The letter made recommendations on three issues: developing a long-term strategy on corporate governance for Hong Kong; introducing an independent audit regulatory body as soon as possible; and not introducing dual-class shares.
