On June 1, 2016, ACGA Chairman, Douglas Henck, and Secretary General, Jamie Allen, gave a presentation at the Financial Services Agency (FSA) in Tokyo on "Fostering Constructive Engagement between Companies and Investors". The presentation formed part of a public meeting of the FSA's "Follow-up Council on the Implementation of the Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes". Our key proposal was to encourage asset managers to disclose their proxy voting records down to the individual company and individual resolution level.
