On March 6, 2014, ACGA spoke at a seminar in Tokyo organised to discuss our paper, "The Roles and Functions of Kansayaku Boards Compared to Audit Committees", published in October 2013. The event was co-organised by the Board Director Training Institute (BDTI) of Japan and Hitotsubashi University.  It was held at the Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu Law Firm. A distinguished panel then debated the issues raised. Speakers included:
