On November 10, 2008, ACGA co-organised a roundtable with the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (SAICSA) and local custodian banks on the “multiple proxy” issue, which was also the subject of ACGA's October 2007 paper. The presentation, given by a major sub-custodian bank, focused on five key areas:

1. The multiple proxy issue
2. Why it is important
3. What needs to change & why?
4. How will multiple proxies work?
5. What do other countries do?

At the end, delegates were invited to vote on various propositions and the results showed that most participants supported a move towards allowing multiple proxies in Singapore. The roundtable was reported by Business Times on November 13, 2008.
