On January 15, 2007, ACGA co-hosted a Proxy Voting Roundtable in Singapore with the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (SAICSA) and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). The main themes arising from the roundtable are covered in a summary paper on the event.

Key issues included: voting by poll; appointment of multiple proxies to shareholder meetings; clustering of AGM dates; deadlines for holding AGMs after the year end; meeting notice periods; and attendance of CPF members at AGMs.
