On December 6, 2006, ACGA gave a lecture in the Law Faculty, Hong Kong University on the topic of proxy voting in Asia. The presentation was based on our inaugural report on this subject, published in September of that year. We examined voting issues and trends in Asia, what was wrong with the proxy voting system at that time, the main results of our "Asian Proxy Voting Survey 2006", and some actions points and recommendations.
