ACGA organises conferences and seminars that foster a dialogue among Asian companies, institutional investors, regulators and other financial and professional intermediaries on ways to bring about substantive improvements in corporate governance in the region.
Public events:
- We have organised nine annual conferences under the banner of the “Asian Business Dialogue on Corporate Governance” since 2001 (twice in Hong Kong, twice in Singapore, once in Shanghai, twice in Beijing, once in Tokyo, and once in Mumbai). Our most recent conference was held in Beijing from November 11-12, 2009.
- We give 25-30 presentations each year at public conferences, seminars and workshops around Asia.
- Next annual conference: The "Asian Business Dialogue on Corporate Governance 2010" will be held in Taipei from November 3-4, 2010.
Member events:
- Twice each year, in the spring and autumn, ACGA organises special briefings for members in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
- Once a quarter we hold the "ACGA Investor Discussion Group", a confidential forum for institutional investors to discuss issues relating to corporate governance and the investment environment in Asia.
