From June 7-9, ICGN will hold its annual conference and AGM at the Royal York Fairmont Hotel in Toronto. The conference is being hosted by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Fund and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. ICGN is partnering with a number of institutions, including ACGA, to bring together leaders in corporate governance to talk about topics such as:

• The New Balance in Economic Growth - the BRIC Economies;
• The New Balance in Corporate Social Responsibility - Earning the Social Licence to Operate; and
• The New Balance - The World's Largest Shareholders.

Keynote speakers include:

• Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance for Canada; and
• Rajat Gupta, Former Managing Director, McKinsey & Company.

Jamie Allen, ACGA Secretary General, will speak in the panel titled, "The New Balance in Economic Growth--the BRIC economies".

ICGN delegates will benefit from discounted room rates, which are reduced by about 20% from the standard rate, at the Royal York Fairmont Hotel. The cost to attend the conference is £550 for ICGN Members; £715 for Partners, Academics and Group Discounts; and £990 for Non-Members.
